I purchased two 4x8 raised beds thru Amazon thinking that it would be good quality, It comes from Gardners Supply. I put it together then added the bagged, dry, raised bed dirt. After getting it all in the bed I notice that the bed sides are starting to bow...after just a couple of hours!!! The sides of this bed are only 1" thick. I have since talked to others who have raised beds and they tell me that the sides need to be thicker than 1". Had I known this I would not have purchased these. You would think that if it is sold as a 4x8 raised bed it would accommodate the dirt put into it without bowing. I certainly would return this if it was not already full of dirt. Very disappointed.
