Works even better then advertised. Have used on lawn and gardenProduct easy to use and does raise the PH level. I have 1.5 acre to mow, I used 6 gals and raised it 2 points. Finally have it where it should after three soil testSome areas off lawn are slowly showing improvements, but is it more sun and fertilizer? I’m not sure?!Trying to change ph of my soil to get rid of moss.Spray worked great then I applied lime to lawn. Will have to wait till summer to see if it helps.Description on Amazon says acidic soil one gallon does 32,000 sf. Instructions on the jug says Acidic soil a gallon does 12,000 sf.The bottle is only 8% calcium plus water! The jug weighs 11.5 lbs and 8% of that is 0.92 lbs of calcium!I am going to return this and go buy a 40lb bag of pulverized lime and mix it with water for $5 and it will be 40 times stronger...Prior to buying I couldnt find the application rate. It is 10oz per 1000 sq ft. That means if your lawn is 5000 sq feet you will be using half the bottle $25. You can get a 25# bag of lime at lowes for $6.I do not know if the calcium will balance my soil yet as I first used it today. The garden hose sprayer is terrible! It does not have any calibration so you don't know how much you are applying, and you really need to be somewhat accurate when liming your soil. Also the sprayer somehow back sprayed me with calcium solution in a solvent form luckily, but it is really not good to have applied to the skin. I feel a chemical burn irritation on my face.Terrible design. I lost half of the base chemical undiluted into a patch on my lawn…it will probably burn the lawn there.
