This album shows of how good fatal embrace are at writing music. The first and eighth song in particular are very good with brilliant tunes and lot's of them. They are a reasonably heavy death metal band, although i am fairly new to death metal so you my think otherwise. The main thing that lets this album down is the recording equipment(so what else is new most bands don't get the equipment they deserve) but you can still hear clearly enough the talent that this band have. This CD would probably be for people who appreciate good music over heaviness but it's heavy enough to keep a fan of Anaal Nathrakh, The Berzerker and Immortal enertained from beginning to end. If you like At The Gates this band is very similar lyrically and musically as well as being about as heavy.
